Scherza sull'AIDS in Africa, licenziata in tronco

Justine Sacco è, o meglio era, responsabile della comunicazione aziendale della IAC, e prima di salire su un volo che da Londra l'avrebbe portata in Sudafrica se n'è uscita su Twitter con questa battuta.

Il volo durava undici ore, in America era venerdì sera e l'hashtag "#HasJustineLandedYet" diventava più popolare di #Christmas o uno qualsiasi degli One Direction sempre presente nella top10 delle tendenze. La IAC non ha tardato a farsi sentire e ha rilasciato un comunicato:

"This is an outrageous, offensive comment that does not reflect the views and values of IAC. Unfortunately, the employee in question is unreachable on an international flight, but this is a very serious matter and we are taking appropriate action."

La conclusione è facilmente immaginabile, appena scesa dall'aereo la Sacco non ha preso l'AIDS ma un calcio nel culo dalla sua azienda e non le è rimasto che cancellare il tweet, l'account Twitter e pure quello Facebook. Ma quando una battuta è bella è un peccato tenersela per sé.
